On the coldest night of winter, when the world is blanketed in frost and the air carries the whisper of endings, the Court of the Veil opens its gates for an unforgettable evening. The Waning Veil Ball is a celebration like no other—where death’s beauty is honored, and the fleeting nature of life is embraced with grace and reverence.
Join us for a night filled with the elegance of dance, the warmth of carefully crafted food, and the enchantment of various forms of entertainment, all set against the backdrop of winter’s quiet stillness. This is not merely a gathering; it is an exploration of the inevitable, a reminder that endings can be as beautiful and peaceful as beginnings.
But beneath the festivities, there is a quiet undercurrent, as Prince Aelion and Princess Aeryn of the Court of Eternal Edict see this event as an opportunity to sway the Court of the Veil to their cause. Yet, the delicate philosophies of Queen Thalvaine, the Veil of Solace, may not align with their ambitions, and the night holds the potential for tensions to rise.
This is a ball not only of celebration, but of reflection—where the lines between the past, present, and future blur, and every guest may find themselves caught in a delicate dance with destiny. Will alliances be forged, or will the veil of endings remain untouched? Only time will tell at the Waning Veil Ball.

Evening Performances: A variety of captivating performances will unfold at intervals, offering entertainment and spectacle.
Dancing: Engage in elegant ballroom dances and cotillions led by our esteemed expert dancers, followed by a selection of modern music later in the evening.
Hosts for Dancing: Our gracious hosts will be available to partner with guests for dances throughout the event. No experience necessary
Interactive Activities: Participate in side quests and games designed to engage and entertain.
Story Engagement: Encounter actors portraying key roles in our narrative, with opportunities to immerse yourself in the story should you wish to do so.
Prizes: Accessories shop with crowns, elf ears and other trinkets to add to your outfit. Complete quests to earn gems to spend here.
Photographer: A photographer will be present to capture candid moments of the evening, ensuring lasting memories of the night.

Ballroom dancers, fire dancers, vocalists, ballerinas, acrobats, and more!
Easy to learn basic dances taught by professional dancers on the night, to dance with our dance hosts, or with your partner
Experienced dance hosts to guide you through any of the dances
Cottillions (group dances like in Bridgerton) and line-dances that can easily be learned on the floor, this time with added options where you do not need to swap partners
Side quests following the fun story will be available during the evening
Swordfighting - get training from our blademaster and defeat your friends in combat
Mirelda's trinket table, where you get anything from fey tricks to beautiful crowns in exchange for participating in other events
A card game area, where you can chill and enjoy some games
Get your photo taken as you enter, or do a glambot style video during the night

The evening's fare will feature a bountiful harvest table.
A selection of cheeses, cold meats, bread, crackers, and seasonal fruits and vegetables will be available.
Guests will delight in a selection of delicate pastries and freshly baked goods, including banana-beetroot bread bites, citrus fruit tarts, spiced meatballs, and more.
There will be a seperate table for food for special dietary requirements.
A candy table and artisinally decorated, caramel filled cupcakes will be available for dessert

Followed by 20 minutes of Ballroom/Latin music for dancing

Line dance or group dance on the half hour
More modern music for dancing, some songs will still be suitable for Ballroom/Latin dancing
