Survival isn’t given. It’s earned.
Welcome to the Dragon College Gauntlet, cadet. You’ve been assigned to the Acrobranch course at Casalinga—20 obstacles strung high in the trees. Swinging, climbing, and balancing. It’s a test of strength, speed, and whether you deserve to make it to the next challenge alive.
You’ll be split into squads, but don’t mistake them for friends. They’re competition—each one timed, each one fighting to come out on top. Slack off and you’ll be left dangling. Fall, and no one’s coming to catch you. Suffer through professors insulting all your skills - they only want the best of the best to survive.
Before or after your run, prepare to bleed. Our professors will be drilling you in combat—because it’s not enough to be fast. You need to be lethal.
And when it’s over, if you’ve proven you have the guts to survive, you’ll face your Threshing. A dragon waits—if one chooses you. A mark of power, worn as brooch, pendant, or token. But nothing is given freely. You have to earn it.
Better luck next time. If there is a next time.
This is Basgiath. You climb. You fight. You endure.
Or you don’t.
