Student activities

Students are the only ones with access to Hogwarts Castle, where they will have classes, partake in games, and have their own exclusive tuck shop with smaller queues.

You need to purchase any class ticket on Quicket for access to the Castle.
You also need a muggle ticket for access to the venue.

You do not need to do 1st year before you do 2nd year of 3rd year, but it is advised if possible

Scavenger Hunt

Every student year will have a special activity for that year specifically.

1st year students will have a scavenger hunt to complete

2nd year students have a shopping activity for their classes

3rd year students have a creature themed scavenger hunt

House cup

Compete to help your house win the cup!

Get House Points by impressing your teachers.

Whichever House wins the cup has their colours hung in the great hall the next year

Gryffindor has won in both 2023 and 2024

Can any other house best them this year?

Classes

Each class lasts 15 minutes and is presented by an actor dressed as the appropriate Professor.
Our world slightly differs from the original: Some legacy Professors exist at the same time as modern-day Professors, McGonagall is headmistress but Snape is still alive and teaching, etc.

You book these through Quicket.

Classes are grouped into threes; you can book your timeslot when you buy tickets.

Groups of 3 are R120

Potions class

We now have 3 years of classes available for Potions.

1st year is reasonably easy, where you create a magic colour swirl potion.

Suited for adults and children over 6

2nd and 3rd-year classes are more advanced and only recommended for children aged 12 or above.

Here Professor Snape will guide you to make a specific potion

Herbology class

For 1st year, Professor Sprout will help you transplant a mandrake! Do not worry, ear muffs will be provided.

Suited for adults and children over 6

2nd year classes are not for the faint of heart, as Professor Sprout is helping the infirmary by collecting bobotuber puss...

And our 3rd years will start to learn more about the healing value of plants!

Divination class

For our 1st years, Professor Trelawney will help you and your friends read each others' tea leaves. What tragedy does your future hold?

2nd years glance at the mysteries held in crystal balls...

And 3rd years will dip their toes into some tarot and the Major Arcana

Defense Against the Dark Arts class

Professor Moody tests your skills against a variety of dark creatures in both 1st and 2nd year classes

Charms class

Professor Flitwick is planning on testing your wits.

How good are you at casting enchantments?

1st years will have their problem-solving skills tested with Revelio.

2nd years will have fun with some pronunciation in a very popular spell...

Care of Magical Creatures

Hagrid has put together a selection of creatures for you to study. Some are cute and common, some a little more... unconventional.

Second year classes might even include a dragon.. or two!

Broom Flight Class

Madame Hooch will start with the basics, and see if you can all master the easiest part of flying... getting your broom to come UP!

History of Magic Class

Professor Binns is still here, where else would he be?

Will he tell you of the great gnome uprising?

About the formation of the ministry of magic?

Or will he find a topic even more boring?

This class is not for the faint of heart

Transfiguration Class

We are dipping our toes into a bit of legacy with our Transfiguration professor... Matilda Weasley!

Will you transform a cat in a teacup?

A beetle into a flower?

Photo sets

There will be various sets for you to take photos at, so you can have some magical pictures to treasure after the event.

Some of these we have built, inspired by the movies, but the castle itself is also a magical backdrop all on it's own.

Photobooth

There will be photobooths with props available to capture some magical memories!
